what should you do with the crankcase breather hose and snorkel? I imagine you don't need the snorkel anymore, but please advise.

toss the snorkel, zip tie some foam or buy a small filter for the crankcase breather. personaly I just let it hang and hav never had a problem and it doesnt make a mess either.

Put a filter in the hose and clamp it on. Any Napa or Advance Auto carries small filters that will fit.

I dont like the EHS lids and what is the point .If your capable of washing a filter then run with no lid mann or box at that..it just gets dirty but make sure your out of water or dont submerge the raptor K..

Ive got a small K&N type filter on my breather hose with a hose clamp. Its worth the few bucks.

fyi - ordered the ehs lid today, thanks guys for your help. The reason I didn't want to run w/o lid completely was I can be lazy and its easier to hose off the ehs lid each ride then taking out the k&n, cleaning, rinsing and re oiling. The ehs lid also is water resistant for those rainy days. Ill be sure and let you guys know how it worked for me

Yes absolutely. Throttle response is amazing and tires come right up on command.
