Almost anythign thats not a car with a motor they call a motor bike my friend. Quads just refer to ATV's period. Its just a more wide spread word and easier to say that ATV's. I still call them bikes, its just stuck in my mind.

 

my boyfriend calls his raptor a bike. I call my bike a bike and my quad a quad for confusion purposes. tried callin my blaster my bike... but it got confusing. i can see where quad ended up being a wonderful word!
