Default Warrior carb problem?

My 89 Warrior is giving me some problems. After I start it and it warms up it runs just fine except will not stay at the correct idle. It always idles to high. So then I turn the idle screw to bring it back down to the correct idle, give it some gas in nuetral and it starts idling high again. The problem seems to subside after a half hour or so of riding but not always. Then after it sits for awhile I'm back to fooling around with the idle screw again. I lubricated the cable and adjusted cable freeplay to spec. The only other thing I can think of is a sticking float. Anyone have any ideas? I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks,
Gary

try ripping the carb apart and cleaning out your jets not only should it fix your problem
it'll give you alittle better throttle resp. too

While you have the carb apart check the choke mechanism, i had a similiar problem and the choke was not closing. The choke lever would move and look like it was off but the small pieces in the carb were stuck. Good Luck!
