to sharp of a bend for the chain to go around with out binding

 

An 11 tooth will overwork your chain causing more heat and prematurely wear out your chain and no doubt it will happen at the worst possible time.

Yes the ratio is 3to1.

well i was running 12 tooth in the front with stock tires and i liked it but i got some new tires went from 20 inch to 22 inch and i want the bottom end back plus --------------a 12 tooth in front is one under stock, which will give u more bottom end, i think u have them screwed up BURKEDADDY, unless i misunderstood what u said

 

have what screwed up rider1169? i went with bigger tires and want to compinsate for the differnce by lowering from a 12 to a 11 tooth to make up for the taller tires to get back my bottom end

 

my bad, i thought u were thinking more low end u need to raise a tooth, but i see now what u meant
