What state has the best & the biggest area of sand dunes?

California...

Glamis, Dumont,Pismo....

 

Pennsylvania....



















But if you mean the king of the dunes, probably Cali or Utah from what I hear.

My vote is actually for Oregon, you'd have to come here to know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I heard oregon is great and thats from some cali guys, i would love to get a chance to ride the coast..

 

In the USA I beleive Glamis is the largest area of dunes. I'd have to say California is also the state for the best dunes with Glamis, Dumont and Pismo to choose from. But, Idaho has probably the biggest, tallest and most fun set of dunes, imo. Some sets of dunes at Dumont come close to what St Anthonys, Idaho has to offer. St Anthonys and Dumont with the right leader, you can get that roller coaster ride going on.

 

And if you'd git yer butt up here David we could take one of those roller coaster rides. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Well, you know the story for this year. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I will do my best however for our families to meet and ride St Anthonys together one day in the not to distant future. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Utah has some good dunes for sure. Little Sahara and Sand Mountain are great.
