Yeah I don't know about trinity any more. I'm affraid they have gone too comercialized. There engines just arn't as good as they used to be. But who knows this may be a turn for the better.

Thats what I was thinkin. Didn't they claim almots 65 HP on there 686 and it only makes in the low 50's? Thats what I recall at least.

Someone please get this so I can race it against my 50HP quad. Trinity HP clams are bogus.

They probably have the best web site out there of any engine builder and I think they get a lot of business based on that. God for those of us that race them, bad for the people that guy them.

Edit: Just look at the HP curves. . . torque is at least 5 points high. If that thing got a true 50-55 ft/lbs of torque it would be a great duner.

Yamaha660r I see that your from WV are you by any chance going to the Dirt Days event at hatfield and MCCoy on July 1. I would like to see one of these craycraft engines run at the drags. and maybe it will help to convince my friend that he needs to do some more mods to his rappy.

I've thoughta bout making the trip. If I get everything dialed in, and do alright at local drags and Aledo, I will be there with the Craycraft 686. It's probaly a 1.5-2hr trip, so traveling won't be a issue. I'll make sure and update you if I do make the trip, and we can meet somewhere around the drag's.
