Yfz450 air box lid? On or Off?
My buddy just bought a YFZ. He going to get a pipe in the future, but in the mean time, he heard that removing the air box lid and re-jetting can help in power. If this is the case, what jetting changes need to be made. And..does it really give much of a power increase? We are in Ohio..about 1000 ft elevation.

pull the peashooter out and take the lid off. Run a 170 main with 45 pilot and 3rd clip on the gytr needle. This should get you started.

Is the GYTR needle a different needle than whats on the stock carb set-up? Does pulling the pea-shooter out make it alot louder? Give any power gains?
