Part # of K&N filter for breather w/Pro Flow intake?
#1
I plan on installing a Pro Design style intake on my Raptor soon. I see most install a small K&N filter to the breather hose that normally goes to the air box lid. Is this the best setup or can you modify the airbox and connect the hose to it? What is the part # for that filter?
Also, I pan on going to 145/150 main gets and alittle richer on the mixture screws. I will be running no lid with stock muffler for sound restriction reasons. Is this a good starting ground as far as jetting goes? I am around 1,500 ft. elevation. Thank you.

I put a hole right under the filter in my airbox ahead of the filter brackets that hold it up from the bottom. I them put a similar breather to sixisixt's but without the bracket with the hose connecting from the bottom of the air box where the breather sticks through. Looks clean, and it's hidden. the only way to know it's there is by pulling the filter out, or by looking at the bottom of the airbox to see that the hose runs ahead of the airbox drain. If you run an airbox prefilter like I do, I think you could just hook the hose to the airbox and even go without the K&N breather. I did both, just so if I don't run the airbox prefilter I don't have anything to worry bout dirt getting in there.
