I live in S. Plainfield. If I had to let a dealer work on my stuff it would be Rizzon's In Middlesex, they are a Suzuki dealer, but their mechanic can fix any brand, he's an ace. As for Yami dealers I hear Greenbrook cycle is OK, I purchased the kid's Blaster there. No offence...... but if you wanna ride, ya really need to learn how to work on these things yourself. I'm trying to teach my son's that. It ain't rocket science....

Hate to say it but, YOU ARE CRAZY! It would cost less for me to fly up there from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and buy the parts and me change them for you. I haven't seen the quad, but there is no way that it's that bad. And those prices are outrageous. Buy a Clymer and do the work yourself. Even if you have to buy the storage unit just to have to take the bike apart yourself and have space would be cheaper. Why $110 for a filter? Does it make you go 100mph? If not, don't buy it. And $85 for the labor on the oil tank? It's only 2 bolts and a fitting or two even if it's bad enough to change (Which it's probably not).
By the way, if you need my $20 Clymer, I'll sell it to you for $300 if you are interested. I'll even cut you a deal and pay for shipping.

First off, never leave your quad at someone elses house. This situation is a good example of that. Next, I can't believe your dealer has the nerve too quote such a rediculous price. It looks like you will be paying for it anyway......LOL. Lets be realistic....how much is the quad worth? They may as well get your money, somebody will scam you out of it soon anyway.

I think I've got this all figured out..
Your dealer and the so called friend must be related to each other.
Take your estimate down to the local county court and file a small claims suit against the so called friend for the damages done to your quad. His parents home owners insurance may cover the damage depending on who they have as a provider.
Don't worry about loosing this so called friend... sounds like he is just calling you a friend to get his hands on your prize posession and then have his way with it.
Teach him who is boss when you gets that petition to appear in court.
