Wolverine push button 2wd mod
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone thought that it might be possible to convert a wolverine to push-button 2wd/4wd by swapping out the front differential/pumpkin and front drive shaft and replace them with the setup from an 01' + Big Bear. I have a 99' Big Bear (4x4 only) and an 02' Big Bear (Push button select). I believe the the wolverine uses the same front diff mounting postitions as the 99' Big Bear. I checked between the 02' and 99's front diffs and found that their mounting positions seem to be the same. So, that should mean the the mounts between the 02' Bear and wolverine should be the same? The drive shaft lengths should also match. I wonder how hard it would be to wire in the shift motor. So, any one think this might work?

But i will admit it would be cool and they should still do it.. Or swap a new 450 racer engine in and 4x4 it with drive shaft unstead of the chain.. Im sure they could do it and man it would be a ripper.. Very good seller to.. Yamaha IF YOUR LISTENING PUT IT OUT YOU WOULD MAKE MILLIONS.. lol but they do need to update with just a push botton Unstead of everyone going threw and gettting the high lifter or the warn kit.... I guess thats how aftermarket company's make money though

You should look into the old big bear 350's they had the push botton.. Find out if they have the same front differental your in but you would also need the whole right hand brake assembly so the botton will be on your handlebar mounts..

I find this interesting as mine is a pushbutton operation. I ended up with the button off of a newer bigbear, '02 I think it was. I am curious to know just how many of you would be interested in this as my setup uses a paintball bottle of C02 to operate an air cylinder that in turn operates the Highlifter Unlocker. This can easily be modified to operate the Warn 424.
Anyway.. just curious as to how many of ya would really consider this.
