speed sensor ang clutch switch
#1
Hello to everybody, just quick Q. I saw selling a plugs to cover the hole, if you remove a speed sensor. What is a purpose for this sensor and is any advantage, if you take him out ? Second Q is about switch on clutch lever. Is push down when cluch lever is release. What this switch is for ? Rev limiter ? Sorry for stupid Q's, but still don't have a book, but is ordered on ebay.
Thx

The only reason to remove the speed sensor is to remove some of the unnecessary wiring from your system. No performance gain.
The clutch switch controls your ability to start in gear. With the stock system you have to be in neutral or have the clutch pulled in to start in gear. If you disable this switch you can start in gear at any time. I don't remember if you need to leave this switch wiring open or plug it into itself. Check around.

RaptorRacer1 from your profile I see you run a Edelbrock carb set up. I'm thinking about this set up myself. How do you like it ? Did you see any gain ? And is really so simple to adjust ? THX
