Don't know if its true but it is mentioned in DW that the new Z will be a 450 with EFI. That should give the YFZ guys a run in the 450 class. Has anyone else heard this?

If its true I may have to have the wife trade hers in for an update!

They said in the future, there will be a Z450 POSSIBLY with EFI. By future they mean at least 2006. Dirtwheels threw the EFI in there for mental masturbation. I highly doubt EFI on a 450 mx-quad, but hey, who knows?

 

In that little article didn't DW go on to say 2005? I may just be dreaming that up but I thought they did. It would be nice to see Suzuki take the step on sports quads and EFI maybe some of the other manufacturers would follow suit! It would take the 4 stokes to a new level! I am anxious to see if any new hard hitting quads make it out of the gates this year.

They might slowly turn the z400 into a 450. For 05 they already have rezzy shocks with lots of adjusting and a bigger 37 carb with the throttle position sencor thing. Its only $100 more tho.
