Good pipe, probably in the top 2 all around pipe with the FMF Fatty Gold. Seems these two are the most common choice for your non-drag racers. The FMF's have about a 2 hp advantage, that's it. I have the FMF's and a friend has the T5's, we are dead even with identical gearing, tire size, ect. He has 34mm PJ's and I run 28mm Flatslide Mikuni's. You can't go wrong with the Toomey. IF the price is right, jump on it.

I have Toomey T's on my Y2K Banshee and my experience is that there was actually a big increase in the low end over stock. Mid and High R's however is where they really come on strong! I ordered the Chrome kit which was very nicely crafted and a snap to install with thier easy to understand instructions. I had never done one before and did jets, needles, and pipes all in a total of about 2 hours. Besides the performance gains, they look great, and have a swwweeett sound ; ) Good Luck!

I really like the T5 better than the FMF fatty. Ive ridden both just today on 99 banshees. The fattys were on a ported bike and the power when it hit was in high RPMs. The Toomey T5's where just flat out better power. Coming on instantly and pulling hard from the low end on up. the only other mod to this bike was a boost bottle, which may have helped the low end. But it would flat out waste the other one with porting and FMF fatty pipes.
