Well I pulled out my bike the other day and went over to my buddies house. we raced on asphalt 3 times and it was neck and neck all 3 times.. Problem is. MY BIKE IS BUILT(suppoisbly) his is completely stock im just curious on whats going on.. Am i not running rich enough?? i ahve 142 144 dyno mains i belive and dyno needles. might be 140 145 not sure.. but anyways would jetting make that big of a differnce ive been told i should be able to beat a stock bike by 5 or 6 maybe even 10 quad lengths.. im at about 4,000 feet and im leaving to st anthonys in a couple days.. hes coming with too. and i wanted to get my bike running good before i go.. What would u suggest i may run out to the shop here and get a bunch of jets and test it out. If jetting it up doesnt work Im almost convinced the fu-ck-er that built my bike didnt build it but we will find out tell me what u think i should be jetted my mods are in my sig.

I guess it doesnt haull as much a$$ as you thought with my mods and @ sea level Im running 180/185 jets....maybe your lean? Have you checked your clutch? Plug?
As to riding without an extended swing, its kinda hard on pavement, but a bit easier on dirt since I just spin the tires. But once on pavement, I can do 81mph...maybe a bit more...havent tried it yet.

Does he weigh alot less than you? Trade bikes and see what happens. If his is still about equal then either your jetting is horrible or your porting sucks and is hurting you or maybe his aint stock. Could be something else wrong with the bike though. Check the compression maybe?
