Hey guys my father has a 94 warrior and it has problems starting it we were int he woods and started backfiring after riding it awhile it shut itself off I tried replacing the plug,putting in my 2001 warrior silenoid on his nothing. It just a clicking noise i think its the starter relay not sure tried to checking with a voltimeter and the battery reads fine so does the stator also checked the sineloid mine read 12.30 volts his reads 9.30 volts, even tried push starting it wont turn on. Tried also to put some wires for extra ground and it fried the cable had to remove it.

Any help i will apprettiate greatly he really wants to ride. Thanks in advanced

 

my 1992 warrior also did that, and it needed a new battery, new solenoid and the starter needed to be rebuilt. but it could also be the coil. also check the wires under the plastic where the solenoid is, there is a red wire under there , that connects to the fuse and sometimes a branch will hit it and rip it off. the bike won't start with out it.
