Ok you know how you get started in the office someone mentions a movie and no one can remember the name? Well this has been going on since last week and I still don't know the name and its driving me crazy...

It is an 80's movie I'm fairly sure, about a guy doing motocross. Makes it to the "big event" and the bad guy team (I think team Kawasaki) burns his bike. The other guys pitch in and work all night loaning parts and what not to make a bike he can race on. He goes on to win and if memory serves me right I think they then go on to run like a cross country thing after that....

I know the details are fuzzy but I haven't seen this since I was little, and I can not remember the name. Me and another guy here in the office has searched the web for every "motocross" movie and can not find this.... HELP!!!

LOL I have been that way for a week now! It has drove me flipping nuts.

 

Hmm, that's a tough one but it sounds a little farmiliar to me like I have seen it before.

I don't remember seeing this one but the show "Chips" had some pretty good motorcycle and three wheeler action clips ever so often.

 

ahh thats gonna get to me...... They all chiped in to build him a new bike and it had an american flag seat... ugh.... D@mn short term memory loss.....

 

If I remember right it had an old metal tank on it as well. Looked ancient compared to the other bikes he was racing LOL.
