Great vids! That is surely a fast Raptor.

On the first vid where you beat the Turbo DS, it looks like he had a bit of trouble at the start. You blew him out of the hole, but it looked like he was gaining near the top of the hill. Does that sound right. That makes since if he has alot more HP, but can't get a good start. I would like to see the two of you race on a 300' sand track at around sea level. That would be very interesting. Keep the cool videos coming!

Raptorracer- Those turbos need more than 300 feet now to win. It is hard to make up ground on another fast quad in 300 feet.

The turbos are impressive but not for the masses yet. I wonder what the reliability is going to be in the sand on the turbos? Are the KMS turbos water cooled? oil cooled? or what?

How many turbo quads are out there?

 

14 they are oil cooled and there are about 8 running around in th us and a tad more around the world.there will be about 12 by the end of this month.And make no mistake some of the turbos take off very fast. that was the old club at the cinders there are riders out here that will make your head snap with there take offs!!!
And there is several that are built for the dunes and they seem to being doing just fine so far ??? And the desert racer is subjected to more abuse. alot of these questions are ones i have been asking and will keep updating with the good bad and the ugly.

 

azsand- When are you getting a turbo DS?? How are they sealing the DS head?
