Default Why wont my engine turn over??

Ok i've been having the 102mm piston, but i just put in a stage 2 and kibblewhites along with 1mm oversize valves. Set my timing over and over and I cant turn the engine over with a ratchet and socket in normal(counter-clockwise) direction. But yet it turns over clockwise with no problem. Cant understand why it turns one way but not the other? Any idea's?? Thanks, Mike.

I know you are only suposed to turn it over in a certain direction, I dont have my manual handy so im not sure which direction it is suposed to be turned over at. I do remember mine being able to go both ways though. If the cam is lined up, and the timing chain isnt getting caught on anything (forgotten part) I am not too sure. Someone is bound to reply with something useful.

BTW i do remember myself dropping something down the gap where the timing chain goes from the head into the case, its easy to lose stuff down there.

The motor is binding on something. Piston hitting a valve?? Cam chain sliders not installed properly???
