Which one is more fun, a banshee or a raptor 660 ?

And how is the reliability of a banshee with proper maintenance ?

 

Banshee. As for reliablity If taken care of there pretty close. But the banshee is easier to fix, motor wise.

 

The banshee is funner for dunes but for an all around quad go with the raptor.. yeah its easier to fix. but u have to fix it more and its 2 of everything as far as engine work.

 

did you say more fun?,banshee,and banshee and so long as long you need sand.

 

easy matience in stock form goes to the raptor which will lead to more hours on the trail.

 

For the over-all rider, I think the Raptor is more versitle. The Banshee has a very aggressive powerband. It's just not made for cruzing trails. If you spend a lot of time at the dunes then the Banshee may be the quad you want. On the other hand, The Raptor is a great dune machine, built for the trails and can even be raced in MX and CC.
As far as which is more fun, it depends on what type of riding you do and your style and skill level.

Any 4 stroke is easier to maintain than a 2 stroke. 2-stroke guys will argue this, but they still have to worry about mixing gas. When it comes to actually working on the motors, I would rather have a 2-stroke. With the 2-stroke you don't have to worry about cams and chains and valves etc. You just tear it apart, replace what needs to be replaced and put it back together.

 

Banshee is way more fun on trails. I love hearing raptor owners say they arent any good on trails its one of the dumbest comments ever. Banshees are a blast to rip out of turns. And dont say it cant go slow. I can put in 1st at about 2 mph and be fine. NEVER FOULS PLUGS EITHER. Just because a shee DOMINATES on the dunes doesn't mean it can do other things.
Yes you have to buy two of everything IF it breaks but its still cheaper to buy two and fix it my self then buy one and pay out the A$$ for a professional.

 

we didnt say that u cant do it .. we said that its not as versitle.. you KNOW that it is alot harder to keep that powerband if you wanna go riding in the trials were not talking just flat dirt roads throught the mountains were talking terrain that alot of 4x4's ride.. such as rocky terrain or steep terrain that u cant go faster than 2 mph because of logs.. you know that u have to rap your shee out to about 4,000 rpms before it will pull.. the raptor idles and can go..

 

Also a raptor is alot easier to wheelie

I love the she.. if i were to only ride dunes or flat land.. i would buy the shee. but i like to ride dunes and mountainouse terrain with my stepdad and his honda foreman 450's
