Default YFZ dune tires

What dune tires would you all reccommend for the YFZ. I guess what I am mainly asking is what size of rims and tires would be best for climbing and speed/acceleration. I need to get some real soon as a few dune trips are coming up this summer. Thanks. Also, isn't it true that all yamaha sport quads have the same bolt pattern between all the quads.

i dont know what will be best for your yfz but from what i understand the hauler paddle tires are the best for hill climbs.. and i dont know about hte other line up but the raptor and the shee are the same bolt pattern i dont know why they would change for the yfz.. if i were u i would get a 20 inch tire 8 paddle 10inch rim(because i personally like the look of a low profile tire..

The YFZ deffinately dosn't have the low end my raptor does so i was wondering if the tire size should be differen't than what we use for raptors.

from my experience at Glamis all last winter.. the quickest tires for hill shooting and drags were

21-12 X8 haulers ( 8 paddle) with approximately 70" rollout

for general dunning the 20X11-10 or 20X11-9 in 8 paddle 63" runout work fantastic.. pump them up to 8 or 9 lbs and slide around turns like crazy

Skat doesn't make the 21x 8 paddle haulers anymore and and have been replaced by 22 x 8 paddle haulers ( I think they have the same runout as the 21 had??)

Go with a 22 x 12 x 8 8 paddle hauler 8 wide rim .They set the tire so it has a nice round crown and allow it to grow at high speed which intern means less resistance on the sand .
Ive seen first hand how they work on Choke cherry hill on the Fofittys . if you run flat and wide paddles they dig big holes and you go no where fast . And dont worry about the Circumfrence the 450 handles it fine
