Lastwarrior,
Would you care to elaborate on your statement that you have "twice the work" to maintain a 2-stroke? I own a Banshee and a Warrior and quite frankly I don't see it. Both require basic maintenance - chain oiling, filter cleaning, tune-ups, etc. but the Warrior also requires battery maintenance/replacement and valve adjustments. As far as larger jobs, I would much rather rebuild a 2-stroke than a 4. Have you ever tried to remove the carburetor from a Warrior? You pretty much have to remove the entire front end to get a clean shot at it. Not so with a Banshee. So tell me what I am missing because in my opinion you seem to be 180 out. By the way, you aren't the only one that has stated this opinion, it is just that this time I have the time to question it.

First of all, to whoever made the "15 year old retard" comment, thats not cool. Why you gotta put down kids? You think just cuz we're a lil bit younger than you we dont know sh*t? Thats just wrong.
Second, to "Banshee Bill" and his 2 and 4 stroke maintinence comparison! Come on!! We all know 4 strokes are way more reliable than 2 strokes, its a fact. And since when do you have to take apart the whole front end on a Warrior to get to the carb? Take off the air-boot from the airbox, then slide it back. Takes me about 5 minutes to pull the carb and re-jet it.....maybe its you adults that dont know anything, eh?

I agree, people who say four strokes are easier on maintainance probably don't do any routine maintainance at all. I would much rather put a top end on a two stroke than on a four popper. Once we start seeing more of these high revving four strokes, I think that we will see that they need a fresh top end almost as often as a two stroke.

I think pc 350 warrior is right. Dont put the younger part of the atv market down. If it wasnt for us you wouldnt have an atv market. I read somewhere that 15-21 yr olds make up over 50% of the market imagine the atv market without us there would probably be one or two nice sport quads and half of the four bys there are now. some of us may not know as much as the "veteran" riders here but I sure asd he|| know my fair share and ive probably already helped quiet a few people and proven that im right with in the three days that ive been in this forum. im certainly not braggin but i do know my way around quads especially for someone who has only had them for a yr and a half. I Have done all of my repairs and maintenance on my blaster so far such, as taking apart the drums and cleaning them. Installing my pipe rejetting, air filter and oil changing and cleaning. nothing really that big but there are a lot of people that would bring it to the dealer for things like that rahter than doin it themselves. and I did do a lot of taking apart my lt 80 since i rebuilt it twice. I also have probably read every single article in my dirtwheels and atvaction magazine for two years and found close to every site on the web ( link to almost every site is http://www.geocities.com/Baja/Outbac.../banlinks.html). So what im trying to say is thay alot of us dont know as much as u but without us who knows where the atv market Would be and dont act like you know everything because i know alot more about atvs than a lot of people in this forum
