seriously! I just got my 4-wheel atv action magazine the other day. they had a shoot out between the raptor and the banshee and in a short drag race they are tied! that sucks! my 400ex is barely slower than a raptor then and mine is 260 cc less! that is terrible! I guess honda's technology is really shining through now!

I bet the Bombadier will still take it. its pretty pathetic when 260 cc's only make a few mph difference! hahahhahahahahah! pathetic!

The 400ex is only a few mph faster than the 300ex.

Just because 4wheel atv action magazine says the Raptor is faster than a Banshee doesn't mean that it is. They say the DS 650 is faster than the Banshee, but I have 2 friends who each own a DS, and they have both had them longer than I've had my Banshee, and neither of them can keep up with me on acceleration or on the trails. No one else ever has on a DS either. Sure, they have more top end, but how often do you get to wind out top gear on a track or a trail? Banshees have proven themselves worthy of being bragged on. How can so many people be bragging on a quad that they have not ridden yet? I'll believe it is faster if one of them outruns me. Then I'll buy one. Until then, it's nothing but a Banshee.

 

LOL,No its not unless a 300EX goes 65mph...A 400EX can hit a top speed of 68mph to 70mph.

In a short drag race I can out run a banshee on a 400ex just because the EX has more bottom end but when the banshee gets into the top end of the power band it is no competition! The Raptor will have to be one hell of a quad to outrun a banshee in a long drag. I would have to see it to believe it because the same was said about the DS. It was suppose to be able to outrun a banshee but I have yet to see that happen!

 

Ok banshee guys. The ds is faster than the banshee. Just get used to it. dirtwheels draged them, so did every other atv mag and the ds won, period! Now I am not a ds or banshee owner, matter of fact I could care less about either of these quads. So I am not biased. As far as the raptor making 42hp, is that true? If so, then that is pathetic for a 660 that was billed up to be the best ever. I sure hope its got more than that.
