Tan on a four stroke is not bad . How does it run? try opening your fuel screw 1 turn and then raise your needle a clip But remember make it run good thats whats important .

You really need to check it at at least three different throttle positions to determine exactly were it is lean. Don't just start moving things until to do this first. I would run it at 1/4 for a several seconds and then kill it and stop as quick as safely possible and then pull the plug. If it looks good then don't change the mixture screw or the pilot jet. Then I would run it at 3/4 throttle and check the plug again. If it looks good then don't change the needle height. Then run it at WOT throttle and check the plug. If it looks good then don't change the main jet. You must get it right from the bottom up to get a true reading. The idle mixture screw and the pilot jet effect up to 1/4 throttle and have a lot to do with getting the right mixture to allow the jump to full throttle. The needle mainly affects 1/4 to 3/4 and the main jet affects WOT. Definitely don't just move some stuff and hope that it will be okay. What works on some bikes will not work on others. You did not specify what mods you have done and so they may not be the same.

That means absolutley nothing.....why would you check the plug color at idle or in 5 mins.....you have to ride it like you normaly do ...then pull it - or do a plug chop - but you are wasting your time anyway, plug readings are just not that reliable when it comes to 4 strokes. You have to FEEL what the motor needs.
