The warrior is very fun on the trails. Just redo the intake, exhaust, and tires and it will do great. I've never had mine overheat in stock form, even in deep muds. After the intake and exhaust mods I placed an oil cooler on it, since it will increase the fuel and air consumption greatly. With the carb on there too I can match a slightly modded 400EX, that should tell you how much the engine can be improved. If you weigh in the upper 100's or over 200 go with a 400 though, if not the warrior will do you fine.

If I'm reading your sig correctly, you have the sport 400 with some mods done, which is a 2-stroke 400CC. I think you would be disappointed with the power of the Warrior compared to that. Even the 400EX and to a lesser degree the Z/KFX 400's will be a bit of a let down in regards to power. Handling on the other hand you'd enjoy the 400EX and Z/KFX 400's much more than the Warrior, I'm not sure how the Warrior handles in comparison to the sport 400, but it's probably a bit better considering it's weight advantage.
It's not a bad quad overall, and it's bulletproof if you keep your regular oil changes and such ..
If money isn't a big issue, I'd say get the Z/KFX 400 .. they're all the 400EX is and then some with liq. cooling and a better suspension setup.
