Default Clutch tension lost!

Hey guys,
I have searched the posts for a solution without success on my problem.

I have lost all the clutch tension on my 89 blaster. The dis-engage lever on the engine has lost all its tension, consequently my clutch perch has gone limp. I can physically move the dis-engage lever back and forth on the motor by hand with no problem. Is this a big problem?? I am thinking it may just be a spring that has to be replaced. Anyone have any solutions?? Help please!!!

is your torsion spring intact? (little spring located on the lever shaft on the side of the engine)

does your clutch still work properly?,,,,,,do you just have some slack after you let the clutch out????
