TW200

Hey guys, anybody got a TW200? These little big wheel bikes look like fun and I was curious if anybody here had one. How do you like it? How does it do in sand? Do the big tires make it too heavy to jump a little? Any info appreciated!

Hey seen your topic im about to run down and buy me one of these been reading alot of good stuff i think the top speed is like 60mph. I dont think thats bad at all. I heard they go everywhere. I just found out about these machines. I want an atv but my truck got robbed and that set me back. They got my wallet, $1000 stereo system, tools, and even my mints. Then i find a great trail bike big tires and you can ride it to the store. Let me know if you got one a your true feelings on it $3,600 aint bad for it brand new.

The TW200 is a great bike. With a new 15 tooth countershaft sprocket, a hole in the airbox cover, and a #120 main jet the bike will do 70mph on flat ground, and will hold 65mph up all but the steepest hills. And that's with my 297lb *** on it. The bike is a great all-around bike. It gets 75mpg or better, it's ultra reliable, and it will do freeway speeds. The big tires give it more traction than any other dirt bike around. Sand and mud bogs are no problem. Big steep hills with loose slippery junk is no big deal. No need to speed up and power through anything.... where most bikes need a running start the TW will just chug in, over, and through without a moment's hesitation.
The bike is nimble and agile on the street. The tiresa are so wide that you can ride the TW like a sport bike. I've dragged my pegs and if you have the *****, getting a knee out would be no big issue. On STOCK KNOBBIES. Yeah. It has that much traction. The dirt is the same.... you have an over abundance of traction... which makes the standard dirbike spin-the-rear-tire-to-change-direction trick not work well... if at all. The TW rides like a street bike on the dirt. You countersteer and lean just like a street bike. No need for quick manuvers to go around obsticals.... the TW just goes right over. Those giant tires will take rocks, stumps, logs, you name it. Just go right over and hold on.
Sand is great. Even really DEEP sand, like at the beach. Just air the tires WAAAAY down. 7lbs or so. Then floor it. The first few feet are crazy, but once you hit about 3rd gear the bike floats up over the sand. Just don't slow down.
The biggest limiting factor for jumps is the suspension. It doesn't have a lot. This is more of a do-everything trail bike. It's by no means a motocross bike. It will handle the occasional jump, but if you try and keep up with the full-on dirtbikes, the suspension will be overwhelmed very quickly.
