Default 87 Warrior neutral relay

I have an '87 Warrior. The neutral light will not come on when the battery is connected. I believe that it is the neutral relay. There is power all the way up to the relay. Does anyone know how to test this relay?

I know my netural relay did not work on my 87 warrior. Heck neither did the reverse relay or starting relay. New ones would not work either.

If you jump the relay does the light come on?

simply jab a wire into the lead power to the relay and place the other end to the wire that feeds the light. If the light still does not come on it is blown or has a bad ground. If it does, replace the relay. Prepare your self to pay about $35 for a new relay.

Good Luck!

Relays normally dont go out. Sometimes they just quit.

Dont worry about it. Also the new warriors have diffrient relays than the older ones.

Hello, can someone please help.....I have a 2001 Yamaha warrior 350, neutral light keeps going out every time I try to start it, now won't start. But I keep hearing a buzzing noise every time I press the ignition. Could the problem be my "Neutral relay"
