Default Help get this thing started!

Please

'85 Yamaha Moto4 80. Brand new starter, new battery, new plug, cleaned out the carb and jets. I'm getting compression and spark and it smells like gas when I'm cranking it, so what the heck am I missing. It'll crank forever and not even give me a sputter. Is it possible the kill switch is corroded or something of that nature?

Thanks,
PJ

hotter, colder, different style altogether? I've got the original plug and the new plug I just got, no luck with either.
