stock quad= what % octane?

Most stock or slightly modded quads will run fine on regular 87 octane gas but when you start gettin into the higher compression bikes like the YFZ and 450R you're gonna need at least 91 octane or higher.

91 is what the yamaha says you run in your quad, i don't really think it matters. that much like he said ^^ high revs/comp would be the only reason to run 91

Banshees have a sticker on the tank when you buy them that says premium gas only.

on any quad i would use premium, trust me they run much better with cleaner, high quality gas.
