Well, from my standpoint, the yfz seems to be doing better on the mx track, and if you could stand to ride it, you could probably do better in xc too. They are both good jumpers, and are both fast. The yfz seems to be quicker though. The yfz's are having some problems here and there, and it is unsure if yamaha will cover them......this to me is a huge problem. Honda hasn't had too many problems, and they might not stand thier quads either. Both are great quads though.

Search. There are literally thousands of posts on this topic. All you will get is a "both are good, ride them and see what you like better" answer, and a lot of flaming.

Both are good bikes ride em both and see

Issues with my yfz so far......Decomp plug......

The 2 450r's we ride with. One has broke his frame and the other has cracked his swingarm. They also say that the yfz has some trouble with the swingarm cracking.

I just did a search and found 52 threads that had "yfz" and "trx" in the title. Who knows how many there are that have those keywords in the post bodies. Search harder.

well so far i have the yfz and m friend i go ridin with has the trx the yfz is a lil quicker but both bikes are really fast they both look good IMO i like the way mine looks but thats me the trx doesnt handle quite as good but it handles good his is more comfortable to sit on and i like the kick start thats the only thing i wish mine had id prefer it over the electric just cuz of problems u might encounter but id test them both out see which one ur more comfortable with either way its a win win situation

I have a YFZ and my cousin has a TRX and we go riding all the time. My YFZ is a little faster. both quads handle good, very stable and have good suspension. The Honda wheelies to easy. You should try both quads and see which one feels better to you
