rear park light help
For a park light, I assume the motor will be off? If so, hook up a toggle switch, with an linline 3 amp fuse, and go directly to a hot wire. the brake light should be easy, just hook the existing wire( on the quad) to the wire on the light, thats for brake light. Hook up the ground and its good to go. You could buy a toggle switch with a built in led light, to indicate the tail light is on.

rear park light help want brake light
I used to have an 01 Wolv and installed a brakelight. I went to the parts store and bought a light socket and a double fillement (sp) bulb. I then went to the local atv shop and bought a universal brake switch. I removed the old socket from the taillamp assy and installed the new one, also installed the brake switch to the foot brake. After that, I ran an ignition hot wire to one post on the switch, and a wire from the other post to the brake light. Just make sure your tail lamp assy is resealed good. I ran this for the next 3 years I owned it and have not had a problem. You may need to adjust and lube it every now and then. Its a quick and simple job.
