Default wolverine info ???????

I am looking for some opinions about brake pad compound preference . This atv is not run in the mud , rather on steep hilly terrain and trails . Secondly , are there any alternatives to the factory type front axle boots ? Thanx in advance for any and all info !!!!!!

I like to use EBC severe duty brake pads. They seem to last the longest.

When I had my wolv, I replaced my front axle boots with a set from Moose. They are a hell of alot thicker/puncture resistant and I'm pretty sure thay are priced very reasonable compared to genuine boots.

Eja,

The 489's are quite a bit heavier than stock. They seem to wear well, but are a really hard compound and don't grip well in hard pack that is wet. I like sticking with the 23", but next time I think I might opt for the 4 ply AT's. It's nice to have the peace of mind when you have 6 plies, but it is a noticeable weight increase.
