Default Beware!!! e-bay scam!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine went several rounds with a guy using Yahoo from France trying to scam. In the period of a week or two, he got several ads pulled from ebay and 2 other online places plus a couple of Yahoo acounts closed by notifying them, ebay and yahoo with details. Send them those auctions, and the links to your actual pictures.

The guy was going by the name Christian Luben and could barely write coherent English. The most obvious problem was his ad for a 400ex (specs from Honda's site like these ones have) had a title of XR400 since he pulled that from the ad without reading carefully. He also was originally listing a 400ex for sale and later sent pictures of a 300ex when asked for details. Talk about a moron.

Here's my friend's page detailing most of it for those interested: http://ngd.myftp.org/FraudReport.htm

I got an email back, but it looks like a copy and paste job. It has a link in it to his feedback. I noticed that all the feedback is from new users. I bet they are all his. Probably rotates his auctions through them bidding and winning his own. I hope this guy is using his home computer. If he doesn't stop I will make it my mission in life to hack his system. Ebay should check the IP addresses of all his transactions and shut down all of the accounts. His new name and address is:

Name : Chad Brown
Address : C&D Company Ltd.
City : London
Country : England
Zip Code : SW47ET

any ebayer that bids on it (to actually buy it) deserves to get scammed:

I would never buy anything on ebay $50+ if the seller didn't have at least some feedback.

He will be getting some nasty e-mails from me also though...
