Need help On How to Remove Rear Axle 2003 Grizzly
I spun my left rear cv joint. I have been told that you can just remove and replace the outer cv joint withought replacing the entire axle. Can this be done? If so can someone please explain how to remove the inner part of the axle from the differential. I have removed already removed the wheel and hub but am stuck rtying to free it from the diff. Thanks for any help!

The only place I was able to find the outboard CV joint was Gorilla Axles, they sell just the CV. What year Grizzly?
Let the CPSC know about the problem also, unless breakage was caused by abuse! www.cpsc.gov/talk.html

Thanks for the help fellas. Dr Quad, you asked what year the bike is...2003. I have yanked vigorously on the axle shaft but I am afraid to yank to hard as I can feel the inboard cv popping in and out within the boot. Almost feels as if I could pull to hard and just disassemble the entire inner joint and boot. I dont know....If you have any suggestions, that would be great!
Thanks

The reason I asked what year is I have broke 3 CV joints on three different axles, on my 2003.
Slide the boot back on the CV and wipe some of the grease off and you should see a snap ring near the outside of the hub, a small screw driver is all that is needed to pop the snap ring out and when you put it back together the snap ring pops back in.
