Only if it knocks. You should probably run it on the recommended premium though, at least midgrade. As ambient temps increase you could have issues as well.

I dont care what kind of bike you have, 11.9:1 compression should not be ok on 87 octane.

Due to the higher compression in the YFZ, you should run 91 minimum. Anything lower could cuase detonation. These are expensive machines, so never skimp on service or fuel. (its always cheaper in the long run)

I really don't think a 600 pred lost to a yfz......if so, come here in Iowa and we'll see.....Some guys like to talk crap and say what they don't actually have, or maybe they don't have them tuned correctly.......If that guy had a 600 in it, it should have already been lightened(probably lighter than the yfz by then).....

Hebs........I'll take you on the mx or xc track anyday!!!!! The extra weight is already gone man!! Also I have been riding this thing for a while now, so I know her pretty well. I have the suspension too.......

I would say that it was definetly a 600, becuase its the only Pred that has ever even been close. And the nos bottle was mounted right under the rear grab bar for all to see. You should come out to Utah and ride the big sandhills. You would find out in a hurry that what I am saying is true. If it makes you feel any better, my setup beats most YFZ's, and big bore Rappys as well. When you get the right combo on a YFZ they are a mean machine. The 4 stroke to beat at are hill is currently a YFZ thats been lightened, lengthened, shootin nos, and running on alky. He kicks my butt pretty bad.

I guess I'm gonna have to shut up until I see it then.

We had about 40-50 quads at riding spot last weekend all drag racing. Most were running normal stuff, pipes, filters, and jetted. A Predator NEVER won any of the races. If I remember correctly there were 400 EXs beating them most of the time.

Here's my point.....something with 60-100 ccs more than the competition should run better than that.

Something is wrong if a pred isn't hanging with rappys and atleast within a few(2 or 3) links of a yfz.....the guys either don't know how to ride, or my pred is seriously faster than most other preds(which could be possible, mine was the 2nd or 3rd one in that Nicholas Cycle got in).......

if it is a short drag yes but if it is a long one no the raptor would slowly creep up

Brad, why not come out to jerz.. I'll take you down to sarco(http://www.blu_et_raxx.com/phpBB/vie...ighlight=sarco.) just remove the 2 _ marks. Huge sand pit, killer riding, and I should still have a good place to park where we won't get busted. But we gotta post the video of when we run.
