not exactly, ive seen raptors beat yfz's on flats. rider makes alot of diff

 

yfz is gonna accelerate faster, the only place the raptor wins is on the very top end where it is a few mph faster.

The yfz will win.
The Raptor will not beat the yfz on topspeed if both have a pipe. Thats been my experience. Stock vs stock, the raptor was indeed a few mph faster. But not piped. You do normal bolt ons to both of them, the yfz is faster every where, buy quit a margin. I have now sold my raptor..

hmmm....I'll say the yfz too.....although if the race is longer, the rappy will probably come out ahead(or even) this is if they are exactly the same(totally stock or modded the same), and hooked up exactly the same too, and had the same rider ability and weight.......

 

The Raptor has more horsepower, but the YFZ is faster reving also lighter, so off the line it would be very close, mid-range to top end the raptor would slowly pull away. It really depends on the rider, the Raptor tends to wheelie off the line if you can start off perfect on the Raptor you might be able to get the hole shot.
