well first of all this is an ATV forum so i dont know what you expect for that answer lol but yea dirtbikes are pretty fun and yes they are dangerous but if you ride smart and responsibly you wont have a problem. Its just like a quad if you ride it like a moron its just as dangerous as a dirtbike. so good luck gettin the bike if thats what you want. Ride safe.

I prefer a quad over a bike. Used to have an XR400R, but just couldn't keep that thing under control. I always had to be on my toes when riding, whereas with a quad you can ride hard and then just sit back and cruise. I love watching people on bikes though. They do some crazy shat.

dirtbikes are fun for speeding, and killing yourself, and quads are awesome for everything.
I really like my quads...but I have changed tunes a bit lately. The dirt bike is just more fun than the quad. If I lived in the desert I might change my mind.
Yes I do crash the bike...but I crash the quad as well...so It's a trade off. If your into mx or jumping...the bike is the only way to go.

Not true...I will ride on any terrain that a quad can...(with the exception of huge mud pits made for 4x4's) ....then lets go take that quad on some single track trails and see how you do?

Bikes are faster, jump better and are faster on tight trails. One thing is you need to be in better physical shape to aggressively ride a bike then a quad. I get much more tired out on the track with my dirt bike then with my quad.
Both have there upsides. to each there own. For me it's all about the dirt bikes.
