115psi in a banshee is very weak. Your motor should read at least 160
I am not a big fan of shaving heads...run an aftermarket head if you feel that the compression needs to be 160 or up.
If your going all out with the motor. Then I would say to get the highest amount of compression possible. From the sounds of things..you just plain want a good, ridable bike. Freshen the top end and be done with it for around $200.

stock heads are fine.

Yeah i can build a banshee with 100psi in each cylinder. That bastard would run hard on the top end and "scare the crap out of you." Or i can build a motor with 170 in each cylinder and that same motor would walk away from you.
