Good point, and taken. As we see some parents try to or already have a grasp on the sport and know what they are purchasing the according products for thier children. Most parents who have children into the sport have parents familiar with it to begin with, but many are completely in the dark.
We here have a good idea of the heierarchy of sport quads without knowing exacty hp numbers. A kfx700 makes more hp than the other sport quads but is not the fastest or quickest, so hp is not the only tell tale sign. However, it would be a useful to uninformed buyers as another reference.
There are good points to publish hp numbers, but there are plenty not to as well, and I can easily understand why they do not.

Actually headlight wattage is an important comparison to consumers because they want to know how powerful the headlight(s) are for low light and night time use.
That's the best you could come up with to refute my statement?
BTW, polaris does make hp claims. The problem is that they are lying out of thier butt and the rest of the companies are smart enough not to get into that kind of a "numbers" race when it is so meaningless as a comparison.

They dont have to put the headlight wattage either, but they do.
IMO i think they dont put the hp and torque on the sites because alot of people would choose the quad compared to the torque and hp listed on the manufacturers websites, just a guess.

Why don't manufacturers list the horsepower and torque on the spec list on there websites?
You'd think that would be just as important as knowing how many watts the headlights were.....
