Default New Grizz

Just got a new 05' Grizz, The dealer told me to bring it back for belt and valve adjustments after the first 5 tankfuls of fuel. He also said it was not covered by the factory warranty. Is this standard procedures or just a way for them to make an extra buck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bud!

If you have a reliable service department then it is a good thing. I took my 2002 Grizzly back for that 1st service (bought it in July of 2001) and afterwards it has given me many miles of trouble free riding...

The 1st service is usually a good idea. If anything goes wrong within the warranty period, that gives them an easy excuse to refuse warranty work if you haven't had it serviced. This is especially important since most ATV's have short warranties.
