Default Polaris Sportsman 500 or Kodiak 450?

Hello BARBWIRE. My wife is 5'4" and our Trailblazer's seat is 34". She loves the size. She also will never have a quad that is not single hand braking. From a parents standpoint and safety standpoint, I think single hand braking is superior. Split brakes on a 4x4 are not the same if you are in 2x4 mode.

Hey Brycegtx, Im sorry if I caused hurt feelings, didnt mean to be argumentative. Alot is dependent on where and how you ride. Until a few weeks ago I couldnt have been in more ageement with you, and then I discovered engine breaking. Hills, washes and ravines that we had to slide down and sometimes rolled down are now safely negociated without the use of brakes or throttle. With the polaris we had to give throttle while going down hill to aquire engine braking on the rear wheels only, whereas the yamaha is applied to all four wheels. For where and how we ride the Yamaha is definatly safer. The trailblazer is an excellent bike, in fact one(2wd) pulled my son out of the mud last weekend. I have no problems with the bike except that it is not safe for our style of riding. Thats our story and were stick-in to it.
