Default i have searched but i couldnt find my answer

ok my buddy has a completely stock 05 raptor and he ordered a yoshimura comp series full system. Well he wants to know what jetting he needs for it and i know some other people were saying something about 3 one inch holes in the air box lid? ???

the carb is all stock so im not sure what kind it is.....what ever a raptor comes stock with. thisis the only thing hes getting so dont suggest to me to tell him to by a dynajet kit or whatever. i just wanna know what the correct jetting is for his machine so its not ruined.

thanks for your time.

If you get a pipe your gunna HAVE TO get a jet kit weather its dynojet or FMF or something like that. If you don't rejet thats when something bad will happen. Im not sure what size jets to use, but i suggest you tell your freind to buy a jet kit so his bike doesn't run like shat, and bad things start happening to it.

Where you live has a lot to do with it due to elevation changes. So we can't really tell you what to put in it. The best thing to do is call yoshimura tell them what you go and live, and they can give you a good start point as far as what jets to put in it. Then you can fine tune it yourself.
