I was building a roof for a garage for a buddy, when something bad happened. All I remember is my mother standing over me in the ER room at the hospital. Somehow, I fell straight down on the concrete. From the blood spot to the roof was 16ft. I believe I smacked my chin on the roof truss on the way down which knocked me out cold. Nobody seen me fall, they just heard me. They rushed me to the hospital where I stayed for approximately 7 or so hours. The result is a broken right wrist, 15 stitches in the chin, extremely bad ankle sprain, swollen neck, concussion, bruised right hip, bruised right shoulder, and a few small cuts. I got the bill the other for a total of $16,000. I have no insurance so the bill will come outta my pocket. The worst part about the accident, is that I can't ride for a few weeks. This bugs the **** outta me! I also have to write with the left hand ( I'm right handed) and I have to type 1 handed also. This will be a frustrating time for me!!!! Man that really sucks bro. I hope you heel up quickly. Glad to hear it wasnt anything worse. I work on roofs almost everyday. I've had a couple bad falls. Im lucky Im not paralized.

Accidents suck, but at least your still around to tell us about it. Your friends insurance should cover the expenses.

 

I talked to him lastnight about the home owners insurance. We'll see what happens I guess.

 

Stories like this, make me not mind spending that 29 dollars a month for my aflac insurance!!!!!!!!!
