Will the nut just not break loose? or is it turning the engine over when you try to remove the nut?
You can use a fly wheel holder to hold it in place, or by placing a some rope down the sparkplug hole, this will lock the engine up so you can remove the nut. Then you will need a flywheel puller to remove it the rest of the way.
