Default Banshee mods at home (porting)??

The Kit had templates for the intake and exhaust ports, and a instruction manual. I used a dremel tool and some files, but it was a pain. If i do it again I would get a flexible dremel attachment, or a mini die grinder. The kit was specific for a trailblazer, but make kits for Blasters, Banshees, and 250r. There website is www.racelogic.com. Atv Connection did a article about Race Logic, it might be in their archives.

Hondaexracer, if you are interested in porting cylinders or two stroke in general www.macdizzy.com may be a useful page for you to look at. It has forums about porting.

I can't understand some of you guys and this "I can do it myself and save money" attitude it is really stupid when you think about it. Are you a port job professional? Probably not or you wouldnt be asking questions about porting on this forum. Take it to a shop that does porting and get it done right. Ask yourself this- Would you rather spend a few hundred bucks on a port job and KNOW it was done right, or would you rather Do it yourself in your garage with your "Buddy" that took a couple automotive classes in high school and risk ruining a sweet quad because you are a cheap idiot!
