how many mph would i gain if i put a 14 tooth front sproket on, and how much low end speed would i loose. i have a full pipe jet kit k&n air filter no air box lid and 20 inch rear tires. would i be better off getting a 42 tooth rear instead. i want more top end but i dont want to loose my exceleration. i need to replace both sprockets and the chain anyway so eaither way im buying new ones. please help me
thanks

you cant mix n match so you gain speed but not power, your going to have to sacrifice one when you gain the other by gearing changes. a bump up on the sprocket adds maybe 4 mph to the top speed. you will have a little noticable loss in power though.
