Default Getting to pilot jet screw .... popping

Part of the problem could be that CT doesnt ship a pilot jet with their pipes, just needles and mains. The needles work great on piped bikes but you most of the time you need a 25 pilot.

alright guys i figured out wat it was, my carb boots aren't tight enough. So there was a leak and thats why is was so hard to start. I am going to tighten the boots this weekend. Wats the best way to to do this and I also heard about those UPP carb boots which i heard are great. If i were to get those and some clamps from an auto store how would i put the new boots on. Would i have to take out the carburetor and take off the plastics?

Yes, you have to take the front plastic, gas tank, and carbs out of the bike to remove the boots.

Finally picked up the tool (sorry parts dept at the local shop 2 1/2 weeks after they promised a week)

It works fine!!!

tried it out,,,,,no problems

good tool
