Is the difference from stage 1 to stage 2 that significant? Did you have to rejet after the change? Is there a drop off of low or mid range tork?

Should I switch?

What size piston are you running with the stage 2. Anybody have an idea why Sparks bikes can run with stock rods, other builds and CC motors seems to break them.
My Sparks motor broke my stock rod, from what I heard it may have been from the FCR carbs but who knows?? Thats the only conclusion Curtis came up with when mine and a couple others went.

Previously 10.75/1 stock bore with the stage 1 cam.....now 102mm (686) with the stage 2 cam. On the stage 1 cam, low and mid range torque was stronger than the stage 2. This is a good thing with a little less low mid torque....IMO I had too much lower rpm torque before. Much less rider fatigue now when riding hard.....and the stage 2 top end is much stronger.
