Default Hole in my piston

Take a look at my pics at the bottom. I need some advice on replacing my piston. It was a JE 11:1. I'm going to put in a stage 2 hot cam and what size piston and type. I have a stock rod heavy duty springs. Any good tips would be appreciated.

If those pics of your plug are recent, the plug looks good for a Raptor (rap likes to run rich). I have ran 2 JE pistons in my Raptor with no problems, but if I have a problem, I would not go back with JE again for the rap. It's no secret that JE has redesigned the rap piston several times....which means they have had problems IMO. Ross is new and we hear of no problems to date, but very few builds have been done because of price and Ross new on the market with rap pistons. Wiseco makes good pistons anymore (owned by JE), you may wanna give them a try. Sorry to hear of the bad luck. Congrats on a "riding" family. Keep us up to date on what you do, a bunch of us may be in your shoes one day soon. Happy new year guys!

You will love the stage 2 hot cam. I wasted money on the stage 1...should have went straight to the stage 2, because thats what I needed.

What size piston are you running with the stage 2. Anybody have an idea why Sparks bikes can run with stock rods, other builds and CC motors seems to break them.
