I have a 2005 660 Raptor. The stock tires suck for my type riding conditions. I plan on ITP Holeshot XCT 23X7-10 on the front and 22X11-9 on the rear mounted on ITP T-9 Pro Series Baja Wheels. Will the performance suffer on the low end end or top end ? Should I drop a tooth to a 12 or leave the stock 13 on ?

ride it and see how you like it, you went up 2" in the rear, so you gained an inch of ground clearence, and your gearing will be a little taller, you will have more top speed, what are your riding conditions? if you ride in trails and stuff, i would drop a tooth in the front.

I ran a 12 T a few years back and liked the difference it made. However you are going to find that the tighter bend your chain is going to have to make will cause premature chain wear.. That means, It's gonna stretch it out quick. After a ride or two your going to find your chain is loose. Ajust it and the next time you ride you'll find it loose again. Youre going to find your out of adjustment room in about 10 good hard rides. I recomend going to a 42T on back instead. You'll have the same gearing but you'll not ruin your chain and sprokets.
